Do I need to be a member to participate?
You do not need to be a member to participate in any events; however, we encourage membership to help defray the expenses of the club and allow us to expand our activities.
How much is membership?
Individual dues are $6 per year and family dues are $9 per year. A lifetime membership can be purchased for 10 times the annual rate ($60 individual/$90 family)
Please note: Membership in the American Volkssport Association is separate (required for credit toward national awards, etc.) See http://www.ava.org for more information.
Is there a charge to participate in the walks?
There is a small charge of $3 ($2 for Magnolia State Volkssport Club members) to participate in each walk for AVA/IVV credit. The fees help support the clubs events and administrative costs. You are welcome to participate at no charge if you do not wish to get credit for completing the event.
Are there meetings other than scheduled events?
