CHECK IN/REGISTRATION:
Check in at the Waffle House located on Highway 90 (2992 Bienville Blvd.) to pick up your Start Cards. The waiter/waitress will give you the box containing the registration materials.
DISTANCE: 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles)
START/FINISH is located at the picnic
shelter parking area in the Gulf Islands
National Seashore Park. All participants must plan to finish by dusk.
TRAIL RATING #2:
Trail is an easy walk that winds through quiet neighborhoods, along the beach, through woods and nature trails of the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park. Portions of the trail may not be suitable for strollers or
wheelchairs. During the summer months
the bugs at the park can be quite bad; bug
spray or repellent is recommended for your protection.

PROCEDURE:
Follow the instructions in the notebook at the registration point (Waffle House Restaurant). Each participant will pick up a start card and map with the checkpoints marked. Travel the mapped route at your own pace. Validate your start cards at each checkpoint along the way. Place the completed start card and fee ($3 each, $2 for MSVC members) in the SASE envelope provided and mail.

Check in at the Waffle House Restaurant located on Highway 90 (2992 Bienville Blvd.) From Interstate I-10 take the Ocean Springs Exit #50 (Route 609) south to Highway 90. Go east (left) on Highway 90 for 3 miles. The restaurant is on the south (right) side.
