PICAYUNE SEASONAL

START/FINISH: The Start/Finish is at the Picayune Police Department. The registration materials can be found in the Walk Box on the floor under the gum ball/ candy machines in front of enrty doors.
DISTANCE: 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles)
TRAIL RATING #1+: The route travels through picturesque downtown Picayune with its lovely oaks and antique shops. The 10K route continues on into beautiful older residential neighborhoods.
PROCEDURE:
Follow the instructions in the notebook at the registration point. Each participant will pick up a start card and map with the checkpoints marked. Travel the mapped route at your own pace. Validate your start cards at each checkpoint along the way. Place the completed start card and fee ($3 each, $2 for MSVC members) in the SASE envelope provided and mail.
AWARDS:
Various B awards are available for $1.
REFRESHMENTS:
Water and restrooms are available at various restaurants in the downtown portion of the route.

Check in materials are located at the Picayune Police Department, 320 S Main Street, Picayune.
(601)798-7411. From I-59, take Exit #4 and go west (towards Picayune) on Memorial Blvd. Memorial Blvd. will dead- end into Hwy 11, turn RIGHT. Then turn LEFT on Bruce St. Then turn RIGHT on Main St. - Police Station on left-hand side of road. Parking in vacant lots on north side of bldg.
